2) Make your video file have keywords. In my case I would name my file ‘miley-cyrus-wrecking-ball-cover-asher-fergusson.mov’
3) Title your video with strong keywords from left to right. In the example we are using I would make me video title to be “Miley Cyrus – Wrecking Ball (Cover by Asher Fergusson)”. The same strong keywords I identified in Step 1 and have used when naming my video file in Step 2.
4) Descriptions are also important to know when learning how to increase YouTube views for free. Write your video descriptions with natural keyword use. In this case I would write something like, “I chose to cover the new Miley Cyrus song Wreck Ball because the lyrics are meaningful to me and I thought it would be fun!” Then I would also put the lyrics in the description in case people search for the song via the lyrics.
5) Last but not least be clever with your YouTube tags. Your main keywords in your title are a no brainer to include in your tags but looking at what the tags are for top ranking videos is another trick worth noting. This involves going into the code of the competitors video to see what they’ve used. Pick five to ten good ones and add them to your list.
6) Promotion, promotion, promotion! I cannot emphasize this enough. Like I said video rarely go viral on their own, you have to promote the sugar out of the them!
